    Open the character

    Select its picture or title. The details show the available import methods.

    Copy its Appearance Code

    Use the copy button. For an older preset without saved text, open the share picture and type its printed code exactly, including letter case.

    Check the in-game preview

    In Once Human’s appearance import screen, paste the code into Enter Face Code. Confirm only after checking the preview. A share picture is not necessarily a QR code.

How do I publish my character?

    Add your character’s details

    Choose Publish Preset. Add a title, creator name, matching body type and a clear game screenshot. Tags and a description are optional.

    Add the Appearance Code

    A real game code is required. Paste it, or choose Read code from share picture and confirm the detected text. A share image can also serve as the cover. Use JPEG, PNG or WebP files up to 5 MB each.

    Publish once

    Complete the security check, select Publish Design and wait for “Preset successfully published!” A duplicate warning asks you to review a possible match before continuing.

How do I edit or delete my preset?

Open your preset in the browser you used to publish it, then choose Edit preset. Update the details or Appearance Code, replace a picture, or permanently delete the preset.

Leave replacement file fields empty to keep the existing pictures. Complete the security check and choose Save changes. If editing controls are missing, use Need help?.

What happens to uploaded pictures?

Game screenshots only. Explicit nudity and sexual content are not allowed.

New and replacement pictures are sent to OpenAI for automated image moderation before publication. Flagged images are rejected; if the checking service is unavailable, publishing pauses until you can retry.

Optional picture-to-code reading runs in your browser. It does not send your picture to an OCR service.

How do votes, bookmarks and sharing work?

Use the up arrow to vote for a preset. Use the bookmark to save it, then select Saved above the gallery to find it again.

Copy preset link shares a direct link to the character. Use search, the style filters or Surprise me to discover another look.

How do I report a problem?

Choose Report preset beneath a card, select a reason, add any useful details and complete the security check. Reports go privately to the site owner for review; they do not automatically delete a preset.

For an upload error, retry the security check. If you reach a request limit, wait before trying again. Use Need help? for other issues.
