How OH Vault handles public presets, image safety checks, browser ownership keys, votes, analytics and support.
What becomes public
Publishing makes your preset title, creator name, description, tags, character pictures and Appearance Code publicly accessible and shareable. Do not include your real contact details or other private information in an upload. Public images and codes may be saved by other visitors.
Uploads and automated checks
Uploaded images are sent to OpenAI for automated safety moderation before publication. Accepted content is stored using Supabase. Cloudflare Turnstile and server-side submission checks help prevent abuse. Connection and browser identifiers, including hashed identifiers, may be processed for security and rate limiting. Automated checks can make mistakes; use the report or support options when needed.
Optional code reading
The optional OCR feature reads a selected picture in your browser and asks you to confirm detected text. OCR engine and language assets may be downloaded from a third-party CDN. This local OCR step is separate from the server-side image moderation described above.
Ownership, saves and votes
The browser stores random ownership and voting tokens, pending-upload information and saved preset IDs. Ownership tokens allow supported edits and deletion; they are not displayed in public preset data. Clearing storage or switching browsers can remove editing access and the ability to manage previous votes. Keep access to the original browser if you need to edit a preset.
Hosting and admin access
Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate Web Analytics. Supabase provides preset data, image storage and administrator authentication. Hosting providers process operational request and security information. Administrator sessions use browser session storage; public visitors do not need to create an account.
Retention, deletion and help
Published preset data remains until it is removed through supported owner or moderation controls. Removing a listing cannot recall copies saved by others; storage cleanup and provider backups may have separate retention. Use the preset’s available edit/delete controls, report a problem, or open Need help? on the homepage for a data or removal request. Support messages are sent through your chosen email service only when you choose Send.
